Construction work in Marzahn: Landsberger Allee closed from March 2024

The Landsberger Allee between the Pyramid Ring and Märkische Allee must be fully blocked from Monday, 4th to Monday, June 17, 2024, due to deterioration in the building state of the northern street bridge and ongoing construction work of the southern street bridge. In the course of the new and conversion of the Marzahn traffic node in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, the planned construction process had to be adjusted because the critical state of the northern street bridge has deteriorated.

During the closure, diversion routes via Rhinstraße/Allee of the cosmonauts as well as Rhinstraße/Alt-Friedrichsfelde/Märkische Allee are available. The operation of the tram is not affected and foot and bike traffic is largely maintained. The construction work on bridge nodes 1 began in December 2022 and are to be completed during the three -month blocking period in order to ensure the traffic relationships again at short notice.

In the following table, important information on the blocking of Landsberger Allee is listed:

| Blocking period | March 4 9:00 a.m. - June 17th 11:00 p.m. |
| —————————— | --——————————- |
| Locking area | Pyramid ring to Märkische Allee |
| Derirance routes | Rhinstraße/Allee of the Kosmonauten, Rhinstraße/Alt-Friedrichsfelde/Märkische Allee |
| Affected road users | Drivers, pedestrians, cyclists |
| Measures to maintain traffic | Reading signage, continued operation of the tram |

The detour options and information on the blocking are also available on the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and Environment (Senmvku Dept. V). The building authority bundles all forces to speed up the construction processes and to improve the traffic situation as soon as possible.
