Demolition of the Halfpipe in Liberty Park planned

The street and green space office (SGA) informs the citizens about an upcoming demolition measure in Liberty Park. The small half pipe, which is located immediately in front of the JFE Senfen10, is expected to be canceled from a specialist company in the 15th calendar week. This decision is related to the urban development of the adjacent historic Gutshof Hellersdorf, through which 1,650 new residential units were created in the immediate vicinity.

The termination measure is therefore used to further develop and use the site around Liberty Park. The planned establishment of new residential units requires adaptation of the existing infrastructure and public areas. The dismantling of the half pipe is part of these measures and will create space for further construction projects and green areas in the area.

Historically, Liberty Park has always been a popular meeting place for young people and young adults who did sports there or simply spent time outdoors. The Halfpipe was an integral part of this leisure offer and will now give way to a new purpose.

For residents, this also means change in the immediate vicinity. The redesign of the Liberty Park and the development of new residential units can have positive effects on the infrastructure, the range of living space and the quality of life in the area. It is important to keep an eye on the needs of the local community and ensure that the planning and implementation of these construction projects is done in accordance with the interests of the citizens.

The following table lists some relevant information about Liberty Park and the planned construction projects:

| Liberty Park |

| Location | Hellersdorf |
| Fame | Popular meeting point for young people |
| Infrastructure | Playgrounds, green areas, halfpipe |
| Planned development | Demolition of the half pipe for new residential units |

It remains to be seen how the changes in Liberty Park affect the local community and whether the planned construction projects will contribute to the positive development of the district. It is important that communication between the authorities, the construction companies and the citizens remains transparent and constructive to ensure harmonious coexistence during the redesign phase.
