75 years of the Basic Law: Focus on women rights
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the Women's Advisory Board Marzahn-Hellersdorf invites you to a lecture and an audience discussion entitled “75 Years Law: Human dignity is inviolable-does that also apply to women?” a. Professor Dr. Ulrike Lembke will speak about the importance of Article 3, paragraph 2 for the actual equality of women in Germany and also take into account the developments in East Germany.
Prof. Dr. Ulrike Lembke is a renowned legal scientist, judge at the Berlin Constitutional Court and expert in feminist law. She has already presented pioneering reports on topics such as gender -friendly language and the right to abortion.
The event takes place in the district information center in Berlin and begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is from 6:00 p.m. and a registration at Buero.Agstellungungsekrungte@ba-mh.berlin.de is welcome. People who notice racist, sexist, anti -Semitic or other inhuman statements can be excluded from the event.
