New cultural encounter on "The Island Night" on the Insulan

On June 28, 2024, the successful event "Die Inselnacht" took place on the Insulaner, which was organized jointly by the Steglitz-Zehlendorf business development agency, the regional incubator Berlin Südwest and the Tempelhof-Schöneberg business development agency. This cooperation with the operators of the islander, including the Shakespeare Company Berlin, the Berlin Bäderbetriebe and the Planetarium Berlin Foundation, enthusiastic hundreds of visitors: inside with a varied cultural program.

The "island night" offered a unique experience in the middle of the capital from 5 p.m. to midnight. The evening started solemnly with a theatrical staging in the theater, accompanied by fascinating stilt runners, exclusive ideas in the theater machine, a magical elf wish tree, garden theater as well as make-up and dress stations in the style of Shakespeares.

A highlight of the evening was the anniversary show "Two gentlemen from Verona", who delighted the audience with unexpected surprises and rounded off with musical sounds and a raffle. The observatory enchanted the visitors: inside with the captivating play "Mother Anders" of the DreiBühne Berlin in her dome. At the same time, the guests enjoyed the unique experience of the night bathing in the summer pool on the islander, accompanied by music, love poems and poems presented by talented actors: inside the Shakespeare Company Berlin.

The "island night" on the islander proved to be a cultural highlight that enriched the Berlin cultural scene in an impressive way. This successful event has now taken place for the second time in a row and will continue in the coming year in order to create an unforgettable cultural experience for the residents again: inside of Berlin.
