The RE1 railway line between Berlin-Köpenick and Erkner (Oder-Spree) is currently interrupted towards Frankfurt (Oder). The East German Railway (ODEG), which is responsible for the operation of this line, confirmed this at the request of the Berlin-Brandenburg Radio (RBB).
Reason for the interruption is a technical defect on a train that has remained near Rahnsdorf. Around 50 passengers are currently in the train and are accompanied by the fire brigade.
The exact time when the track will be released is not yet known.
