On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the 32nd meeting of the Lichtenberg district assembly will take place in Max-Taut-Aula, Fischerstraße 36, 10317 Berlin, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting plays a crucial role in the determination of the administrative policy of the Lichtenberg district and includes various decisions and elections of members of the district office.
The head of the BVV-Lichtenberg, Gregor Hoffmann (CDU), emphasizes the importance of this meeting: "The district councils will again determine the basic lines of administrative policy in this session and, in addition to the control of the management by the district office, can also carry out the dismissals and elections provided for in the law."
A highlight of the meeting will be the vote on the dismissal of the district member Kevin Hönicke, followed by the subsequent elections of a new member of the district office for the district of Lichtenberg.
The citizens have the opportunity to ask questions for the "question time for residents" until Wednesday, July 10, 2024, 10:00 a.m., in the BVV office or by email to bvvlichtenberg@lichtenberg.berlin.de. These questions are dealt with at the BVV meeting according to their entrance, whereby a question and demand can be asked per question. The time frame for the questions is limited to 20 minutes.
In addition, the reports of the district office are published as an investment for the session in order to increase the degree of transparency for the citizens. Further information on the district council of Lichtenberg is available on the official website of the meeting.
