New bike path in Lichtenberg: Information event on the RSV 9 cycle connection

Next Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the district councilor Filiz Keküllüoğlu invites all residents to find out more about the bicycle traffic facility on Scheffelstrasse. The information event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Carl von Linné School at Paul-Junius-Straße 15, 10367 Berlin.

A new bike path is built on Scheffelstraße in Lichtenberg to increase traffic safety for cyclists. This road is part of the RSV 9 bike connection, also known as the "East Route". The RSV 9 cycle fast connection is currently in the design planning, and GB Infravelo GmbH, a subsidiary of Grün Berlin GmbH, is planning and coordinating the project.

Ms. Keküllüoğlu emphasizes that the event serves to inform the citizens about the current status of planning and implementing measures in the field of cycling and foot traffic. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions about traffic safety and to discuss improvements in the district.
