New insights: ‘Artists in Residence’ exhibition in the Lichtenberg Museum

A creative fireworks break off in the Lichtenberg Museum! The captivating exhibition "Artists in Residence: Berlin and Sineu" by Intervention Berlin e. V. presents the extraordinary works by Marijo Ribas and Berit Myrebøe. In one of the most exciting places in the capital, at Türrschmidtstraße 24, art shines until 19. January 2025 . Don't miss the chance! Entry? Zero euros, so nothing like there!

Marijo Ribas, deeply confused in her own family history, has taken up a explosive topic: labor migration. They led their research to the former Vietnamese contractors in Lichtenberg, who move between home and capital. After the decline of the factories, many stayed in Germany, while others returned to their homeland. The result? A lively Vietnamese community, whose heart stamp are pagodine temples and the Dong Xuan Center.

Berit mybøe and their fascinating printing techniques

On the other hand, Berit mybøe devoted himself to the mysterious possibilities of printing in the Espai Sant Marc workshop. She experimented with various processes and looked for new ways to bring light and hidden motifs to life in her pictures. Her work is not only art objects, but also an invitation to question the depth of what is seen.
