New exhibition The other look - feeling and reality in Berlin!
In the RK Gallery for Contemporary Art in Berlin, the exhibition "The other look-feeling and reality" is presented until November 13, 2024. Since last Friday, September 6, 2024, visitors can admire historical photographs from East Berlin and the GDR, which meet abstract painting by the Lichtenberg artist Katja Jandrjasevic.
The photographs, curated by the Lichtenberger Agency GDR Photo Serbe, offer insights into life and development in the eastern part of Berlin and in the GDR from 1961 to 1991. The pictures show various everyday scenes, official events and private moments that give an authentic insight into the past.
In contrast to the photographs, the abstract paintings by Katja Jandrjasevic, which represent inner sensations and moods, are in contrast to the photographs.
