Lichtenberger Social Days 2024: Experience life in Lichtenberg

The 29th Lichtenberger Social Days will take place on June 5 and 6, 2024 in the Linden Center in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. The event is under the motto "Life in Lichtenberg - social, tolerant and in the middle" and offers interested parties the opportunity to find out more about social services and offers in the district. District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU), the district councilor Dr. Catrin Gocksch (CDU) and center management will open the social days on June 5 at 10:00 a.m.

The participants can get to know social institutions, welfare associations, public institutions and freelance organizations on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. These present cross-generational auxiliary, support and hands-on offers such as consultations, leisure activities, intercultural projects and possibilities of voluntary commitment. In addition, there will be thematic discussions and a varied stage program.

The parliamentary groups of the district council (BVV) Lichtenberg will offer office hours for citizens on June 6 from 4:00 p.m. On the same day at 6:30 p.m., the political talent group "40 years of Hohenschönhausen" takes place.
