Lichtenberger District Steer: Honor for special commitment on June 10, 2024
On June 10, 2024, Marion Schultz, Birgit Bischof and Benjamin Scolari were awarded the Lichtenberger district state for special commitment in favor of the common good. Marion Schultz and Birgit Bischof were honored as arbitration women for their many years of volunteering. They equalize between controversial parties and contribute to the restoration of lawyer by solving conflicts out of court. Benjamin Scolari runs a free neighborhood video store and supports the “Kiez Kino” project in good pole. The cinema series takes place every two months and is a highlight for the neighborhood.
District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU) praised the excellent for their great empathy, patience and their contribution to strengthening the social structure in the community. The Lichtenberger district state is a special award for voluntary commitment outside of established clubs and organizations. Suggestions for the honor can be submitted to the Lichtenberg district office.
