Art exhibition Shadow joint opened in Gallery 100 on February 28th
On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 7 p.m., the exhibition "Shadow Fugue" will open in Galerie 100 at Konrad-Wolf-Straße 99, 13055 Berlin. The exhibition presents drawings by the artist Brigitte Denecke, Collages by Gisela Gräning and painting by Sibylle Meister. The vernissage is made by the art scientist Dr. Petra Lange initiated while Hinrich Beermann plays the saxophone. The exhibition lasts until April 14, 2024 and is open on Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
The artists have set themselves the goal of using the shadow joint to bring hidden things and appearances into the light and to explore different aspects of the visible. The Gallery 100 in Alt-Hohenschönhausen not only offers exhibitions of contemporary art, but also cultural programs and lectures. Furthermore, the gallery houses the Lichtenberg art rental, where citizens can borrow works of art.
