The fascination of the inner world
Chilf, who studied at the renowned Hungarian University of the beautiful arts and achieved her end in painting and pedagogy in 1995, is not just a passionate painter. She led her artistic journey through the world of neoconce art, in which she deals intensively with the complex mechanisms of the human body and soul. With her art, she puts the common ideas of reality to the test and ignites a fire of reflection among the viewers.
The works of Mariá Chilf are more than just pictures - they are invitations to immerse themselves deeply into the unconscious and deal with their own inside. Her art, which includes a variety of media such as painting, photography and video, bears the handwriting of an artist who researches not only the visible but also invisible.
a deep look into the psyche
At the beginning of her career, Chilf had a special eye for organic materials and biological forms. But for the past 15 years she has devoted herself to the mental dimension. It illuminates how trauma, healing and remembering interlock in human life, and confronts the spectators with questions of existence that often trigger discomfort. Her work is a mirror of internal fights and the search for a new reality.
