No drinks in paradise: Hercules terraces are waiting for a scanning permit!
In the "Hercules terraces" excursion restaurant at Kasseler Bergpark, guests currently have to do without alcoholic beverages. The operator Karsten Lichtenberg has not yet received an official scarf license for the sale of alcohol. It opens up that the company has been running again in February, and although many visitors enjoy coffee and cake, the serving of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Lichtenberg expects the approval of the city of Kassel every day, but bureaucratic hurdles delay the process considerably. The city has set higher requirements for the alcohol cutout to new companies, which means that numerous documents and certificates have to be submitted before the operation can begin. These include a certificate of good conduct and evidence from the tax office.
official difficulties
The operator already submitted the necessary documents in January. However, some certificates were only issued online, which has led to additional delays. Lichtenberg continued to try to make personal appointments at the responsible bodies, but only received feedback weeks later. A commercial register information was handed over to him personally, but the city of Kassel only accepts it if it is sent directly by the issuing authority.
The city of Kassel informed Lichtenberg that the documents for the serving concession were not yet fully available. This not only causes resentment, but also questions the planning for a closed firm company that is already registered for the end of April. Many guests could continue to do without their desired alcoholic beverages.
legal framework conditions
In Hesse, a Schank license is required for the serving of alcoholic beverages. In contrast, according to the Hessian administrative portal, the bar of non -alcoholic beverages is free of permission. It should also be noted that a tying permit is necessary not only for restaurants, but also for systems such as department stores if alcohol is to be offered as an ancillary service.
For a temporary event, such as city festivals or similar occasions, a temporary schanery permit can be applied for under certain conditions. The application for such permission must be made in good time so as not to endanger the smooth running of the events. This information can be viewed at Verwaltungsportal.hessen.de
While Lichtenberg continues to wait for the approval, the question remains when "Hercules terraces" can actually start with the barbus of alcoholic beverages. It is currently still to be hoped that the bureaucratic structures will soon be overcome in order to be able to offer the guests a complete experience.
