In the "Hercules terraces" excursion restaurant at Kasseler Bergpark, guests currently have to do without alcoholic beverages. The operator Karsten Lichtenberg has not yet received an official scarf license for the sale of alcohol. Lichtenberg expects the approval of the city of Kassel every day, but bureaucratic hurdles delay the process considerably. The operator already submitted the necessary documents in January. However, some certificates were only issued online, which has led to additional delays. Lichtenberg continued to try to make personal appointments at the responsible bodies, but only received feedback weeks later. The city of Kassel informed Lichtenberg that the documents for the serving concession were not yet fully available. For a temporary event, such as city festivals or similar occasions, a temporary schanery permit can be applied for under certain conditions.
