Anniversary of the WKHL: 30 years of business development in Lichtenberg

The district office Lichtenberg congratulates the Hohenschönhausen-Lichtenberg Economic Circle for the 30th anniversary. The association consists of 104 member companies from various areas of the Lichtenberg economy and is committed to promoting the economy in the district.

Since its foundation in February 1994, the WKHL has launched numerous projects to strengthen the cooperation between politics, business and culture. An example of this is the project "Bob- Professional and Study Orientation", which supports young people in the district to improve their future prospects.

District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU) praises the work of the WKHL and emphasizes the importance of cooperation for the economy in the district. He is looking forward to further success in the future and signed an agreement for further cooperation in December 2023 until the end of the legislative period 2026.

The Hohenschönhausen-Lichtenberg Economic Circle plays an important role in the district's business development agency and works closely with local companies to promote the strengthening of the economy.
