Innovative park management started in Lichtenberg

The district councilor Filiz Keküllüoğlu officially started the parking season of the parkers on Monday, March 18, 2024, and presented the new concept of the Think Si³, which this year comprises a total of 9345 hours. The parkers will be present in various green areas such as the Fennpfuhlpark, Stadtpark, Rathauspark, Central Cemetery and Gürtelstraße West/Jewish cemetery. With their multilingual skills, they contribute to harmonious cooperation through their de -escalating and pedagogical approach. The clearly visible presence of the parkers enables low -threshold social control and offers park visitors a contact point for help and information.

District Councilor Filiz Keküllüoğlu (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) thanked everyone involved who made this project possible, such as Think Si³, the Lichtenberg street and green area office and the Senate Administration. She emphasized that the parkers make a valuable contribution to increasing the quality of life in the neighborhoods and act as an ambassador for security and social peace. The initiative shows the commitment of the district office for a safe and worth living environment and invites all citizens to visit the parks and experience the positive changes themselves.

Elisabeth Jedan, park manager at Think Si³, was also pleased to carry out park management in Lichtenberg. Together with the SI³ neighborhood and parkers, they are committed to increasing the quality of stay and peaceful coexistence in the green areas of the district. The parkers are increasingly present in the town hall park by March 31, 2024 because they carry out a survey of the quality of stay.

The following table lists the different green areas in which the parking officers will be present:

Green system
———————-
Fennpfuhlpark

The introduction of the parkers and the new concept of the Think Si³ help to improve the security and quality of life in the green areas of Lichtenberg, and bring positive changes for the residents of the district.
