Initiative 'Cinema for Karlshorst' wins Lichtenberger District Stalack for special commitment

The project was created from the “District Dialogue” participation format, which became clear that a cinema is missing in Karlshorst. On their own initiative, the idea arose to show films and thus share the cinema entitlement with others. The Kulturhaus and the Museum Karlshorst provided the project a suitable room and the necessary technology. In 2023, the initiative showed an international film series in the original version that attracted many new neighbors. The community of the film enthusiasts has now grown and the initiative is planning to continue. The Lichtenberger District Steer is recognition of voluntary commitment, which would otherwise remain invisible.
