Family support plan: Lichtenberg plans to offer needs until 2024
The district of Lichtenberg plans to create a family funding plan by the end of 2024 that aims to offer families in the region more needs -based and appealing offers. This is done with the involvement of Lichtenberger families and on the basis of the Berlin Family Funding Act. In the first phase of implementation, the needs and resources of families in the district are recorded. All families are invited to take part in a digital survey by June 30, 2024, which can be found on the family office's homepage. The knowledge gathered is presented and discussed in the family centers and in an online dialogue in autumn.
District City Councilor for Youth and Family, Camilla Schuler (Die Linke), emphasized the importance of this step for the support and strengthening of the Lichtenberg families. She emphasized that the plan is being developed together with the families to ensure that they receive the required support and resources. Various non -profit organizations, experts and actors are also included in the planning process to ensure that future offers meet the diverse needs of families in the district.
The participation procedure is supported by the Lichtenberger contact point for citizen participation (Lab). Families, organizations and other interest groups are encouraged to participate in the process to ensure that their needs and concerns are taken into account.
A table with the comparison of the previous and planned family offers as well as the results of the current demand survey could be helpful in order to provide an overview of the planned measures and the current state of the needs of families in the district.
