Berliners show their love for the city-tattoo campaign enthusiastic!
In Berlin, the enthusiasm for the football clubs ensures creative expressions of belonging-not just on scarves or T-shirts, but on the skin! Fans of the Hertha BSC proudly present their tattoos, which range from the blue flag to artistic representations of the Brandenburg goal. Kasy Goschin, a passionate supporter from Magdeburg, was tattooed by the Hertha flag in the cleavage to wipe her father, a Dynamo Dresden fan. As she says: "Hertha is my life. I need that. My personal drug." In addition, Martin Teichert from Lichtenberg is wearing a tattoo that symbolizes the Spree-Athen choreography of his team and gives him the strength to never give up, while Sabine Klemm from Schöneberg celebrates her love for Hertha by letting a tattoo to be stabbed on the day of her wedding.
tattoo as a ticket
Innovative thinking at Hertha Berlin is also shown in a special competition: Ilja Pankow, a loyal fan, won a tattoo that at the same time guaranteed him a lifelong access to the club's home games. According to Ticketnews Pankow had to submit a video in which he documents his passion for the team. With over 900 entries, he stood out from the crowd, and finally he received his first tattoo in February, which includes a data matrix barcodes, the Silhouette of Berlin and the Hertha stadium flag. Although scanning the code takes some time at the beginning, he does not regret his decision: "People can ask: 'Do you have a QR code on your skin?' And I get the opportunity to tell you a nice story."
The connection between tattoo and passion for football could not be more unusual! Fans like Andreas Kiese with his very personal Hertha tattoo or Michael Lehmann, who bears the coat of arms of his home district, show how deep the emotional bond goes to the city and its clubs.
