25. BVV Lichtenberg: New location, new possibilities!
The 25th meeting of the Lichtenberg district council will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 5 p.m. in the Dong Xuan Haus, Herzbergstr. 129, 10365 Berlin, instead. Gregor Hoffmann, head of BVV, explains that the change of location is necessary due to technical measures at the previous location and offers a way to get to know alternatives in the district. The inspection showed good framework conditions that may exist in real operation.
On the agenda, there are six election templates, a large request, 21 consolidated recommendations of the committees, 51 applications for the decision -making of the factions and individual prescribers as well as a cancellation application for a submission to the knowledge of the district office. Questions for the "question time for residents" can be registered in the BVV office until Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 10:00 a.m., either directly in the town hall in Lichtenberg at Möllendorffstraße 6, 10367 Berlin or by email to bvvlichtenberg@lichtenberg.berlin.de. There are only one question and demand for each question.
It is recommended to view the reports of the district office, which are published as an investment for the session. Further information is available on the website www.berlin.de/ba-lichtenberg/politik-und-verwaltung/bezirksverordnenvergnung/.
In terms of local effects, the relocation of the session may bring logistical challenges for the participants. It could also be of interest to the citizens of Lichtenberg to take part in the "question time for residents" in order to address their concerns and questions to the district assembly. This is a direct way to participate in local political decision -making.
A table with information on past meetings of the district council of Lichtenberg and the topics treated as well as decisions could be helpful as a supplement to provide an overview of the political work of the body and to show possible trends or developments.
