about the novel "Pi Mal Thumb"

The action of the novel revolves around the two protagonists Oscar and Moni. Oscar is 16 years old, talented and comes from a noble environment, but has difficulties in everyday life, especially when dealing with public transport. Moni Kosinsky, who is a life clever grandmother with three grandchildren, has several part -time jobs and dreams of studying mathematics. Her first encounter takes place in a lecture where Moni is incorrectly thought to be a cleaning lady.

This misleading first encounter is becoming an unexpected friendship that develops on various topics such as courage, persistence and overcoming prejudices. Oscar quickly realizes that Moni's intelligence and perseverance go far beyond what you are addressing at first glance. This dynamic makes the novel a light-footed, refined and tragic-emotion, which deals with the challenges of study and life, as kiwi-verlag.de
