The Humboldt library in Berlin becomes the scene of a musical highlight with the start of the second half of the event of the Reinickendorf City Library. On September 5 at 7.30 p.m., visitors can expect a captivating reading concert with the talented singer and actress Patricia Prawit and her new program "Night Thoughts".
Patricia Prawit is known for her many years of representation of the legendary Marlene Dietrich in a glamorous gala show. In "night thoughts" she presents a new perspective on the immortal myth of Marlene. With a fascinating mixture of anecdotes, pictures and music by Friedrich Holländer as well as songs by Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud and Hildegard Knef, she reveals less well-known facets of this exceptional artist, apart from the usual biographies and clichés.
The upcoming series of events promises a diverse and inspiring program. City Councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) emphasizes the importance of these events that establish the Reinickendorf City Library as a place of encounter and cultural enrichment.
Experience musical diversity and groove in the Humboldt Library
On September 13th at 7.30 p.m., visitors can look forward to a musical highlight on the Seewiese behind the Humboldt library. The Bardomaniacs present a rousing mixture of polka, tegel, and crime thriller. Inspired by melodies and rhythms from different cultures, they combine various sounds and rhythms into a unique experience. The band, led by the talented accordion player Bardo Henning, inspires the audience with their own composed pieces.
The following day, September 14th from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., present the children's and youth choir as well as the streak ensemble "Sinfonietta" of the Reinickendorf music school. Under the motto "Lists! Do you hear the music?" Show the young ensembles in the genres classical, folk, pop and film music. Children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 16 present their musical skills together in the Humboldt Library.
