Culture in the city park: live music in September for all visitors: inside
In September 2023, the Steglitz city park will once more become a setting for an exciting musical event that makes the hearts of visitors: the inside. On the weekends, guests can expect a colorful program with live music on the music pavilion, which is part of the popular “Outside City” event series of the Berlin Senate. This initiative, which has been established since 2020, is organized by the Leo Borchard Music School Steglitz-Zehlendorf and is free of charge for all visitors:
The musical round begins on September 7th with the “Vortex Ensemble”. This group would like to present the diversity of medieval music between 1100 and 1400 by creating a timeless experience with fidel, vocals and bagpipes. From 5 p.m., the classic ensemble "Apassionata" takes over and ensures with a repertoire that includes both pieces by Mozart and Beethoven as well as famous melodies from films such as "Titanic" or "The Godfather".

The Sunday, September 8th, has further musical discoveries. At 3 p.m., the "Flute trio Steglitz" with a flowing flute music ensures an elegant entry into the afternoon. Later in the day, the band "The Cosmic Groove Experience" will perform its own compositions from jazz, funk, hip-hop and Latin, creating a creative platform for exciting musical mergers.
On Saturday, September 14th, it will be really full in the music pavilion when the 40-member wind orchestra "Berliner A lot of harmonikers" presents its wide repertoire. Everything is offered here: from classical and opera to Klezmer, Latin, pop and rock. Immediately afterwards, Andreas Höltig alias "Dancing Fool" brings the stage to shake with drums, bass and electric guitar. At 5 p.m. he hands over the scepter to the "Snatch Jazz Band", which with her jazz, latin and pop standards creates a rousing mood.
On Sunday, September 15th, the Horn-Tuba quintet "HTQ Berlin" will inspire the listeners from 3 p.m.: Inside with its multifaceted repertoire. From Latin American songs to classic brass music pieces - the band brings unforgettable sound experiences. The end of the afternoon is “Die Drumline” at 5 p.m., which, under the direction of Burkhard Sander, provides enthusiasm with classic, modern and Latin American rhythms.
Credber in the event series is the concert on September 21. From 3 p.m., the "ukulelen preachers" with danceable beats provide the best mood. The weekend is rounded off at 5 p.m.
