Kathi Seefeld will be the new government spokeswoman in Thuringia
Kathi Seefeld becomes the new government spokeswoman in Thuringia. The State Chancellery in Erfurt announced this on Tuesday. Previously, the 58-year-old Seefeld had worked as deputy spokeswoman for the Berlin Senate since 2016 and was also responsible for social media communication in the Red City Hall.
From August, the graduate journalist born in Bernburg will speak for Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow (left) and will lead the press and public relations department of the Thuringian State Chancellery. Ramelow was pleased with the extraction of Kathi Seefeld as an experienced and well -networked spokeswoman for the communication of government work.
Seefeld itself was also pleased about her new task and described it as great honor to work for the Free State of Thuringia and the government under Prime Minister Ramelow. She is looking forward to the new professional challenges and will face it with full commitment.
The re -occupation of the spokesman was necessary because the previous spokesman is ill. A new state election is scheduled in Thuringia in autumn next year.
