The right of the right in society cannot be overlooked and affects all of us in different forms. Students in particular are affected by the effects of the right of the right and face challenges that need to be actively addressed.

What does this shift to the right mean specifically for us students? The current political landscape shows a worrying trend: the AfD achieves record approval, even among young voters. This development is also reflected in the statements of Olaf Scholz, who demands increased deportation practice, accompanied by a more restrictive asylum policy and austerity measures in the household. These political decisions have a direct impact on studying, financial support from the BAföG and social cohesion at universities.

In addition to the restrictions in the university area, fundamental rights such as freedom of expression and assembly are also increasingly restricted. The repression against Palestine -Inasolidar movements that restrict any space for discussion and protest on campus are particularly alarming. Politicians are also increasingly interfering with the autonomy of universities, which can lead to an atmosphere of oppression.

The political landscape is characterized by authoritarian measures and a power vacuum in which extremist positions gain space. Youth is faced with an uncertain future, shaped by inequality and a lack of social justice. But there are options for action to counteract this trend.

The resistance to the right of the right and social challenges cannot be obtained solely in the government bodies. Active participation in discussions, protests and political engagement in the entire society, including the university environment, is required
