Jordan supports the USA and Co.: Drone shot down

In the night of Sunday, Jordan took part in the defense against Iranian drones near the Iraqi-Syrian border. According to reports, Jordanian fighter jets managed to intercept dozens of these drones who presumably had Jerusalem as the goal. The Jordan government confirmed the incident and explained that no injuries were to be complained about and that there were no major damage to buildings.

Despite the warnings of Iran, Jordan continued his approach before interference in the conflict and announced that drones that violate the airspace. For security reasons, Jordan closed the airspace late on Saturday evening and only opened it again after ten hours. During the Iranian attack on Israel, parts of shot down rockets fell from heaven in Jordan.

The decision of Jordania to face Iran and even neighboring Arab countries such as Syria is considered remarkable. The "Jerusalem Post" praised the approach of Jordan as a sign of transformation from the enemy to the ally. Before the peace treaty with Israel in 1995, Jordan was a military opponent of Israel for a long time.
