Die Polizei in Berlin-Spandau meldete am Freitag einen weiteren Fall von Geldautomatensprengung. Unbekannte Täter hatten einen Geldautomaten an einer Bankfiliale im Ortsteil Falkenhagener Feld gesprengt und die Geldkassetten gestohlen. Glücklicherweise wurde bei der Explosion niemand verletzt. Die Täter konnten unerkannt fliehen. Die Polizei hat die Ermittlungen übernommen und sucht nach den Tatverdächtigen. Dies ist nicht der erste Vorfall dieser Art in Berlin. Zwischen 2018 und Anfang März 2023 wurden insgesamt 92 Geldautomaten gesprengt. Die meisten Sprengungen ereigneten sich in den Jahren 2021 und 2022, jeweils mit 26 Fällen.
