In a brave step, the second division soccer team Hertha BSC decided to leave the controversial platform X from Elon Musk. Despite the 15 -year and lively community on this platform, the club has recognized that the new philosophy under Musk does not match its values. "As a club, we cannot ignore if the pretext of freedom of expression hatred against minorities, right -wing extremist content, anti -Semitic conspiracy theories and racist insults are no longer moderated," said Managing Director Thomas E. Herrich. This decision reflects Hertha's commitment to diversity, tolerance and diversity, as they emphasize in an official statement.

Change to Bluesky

Hertha BSC will continue his social media activities on the Bluesky platform, which was founded in 2021 and acts as a non-profit company.
