The owner of a lottery business in the Berlin district of Wedding was attacked on Sunday night. The perpetrators threatened him around 2 a.m. with a firearm and robbed the daily revenue. Then they fled in a car. However, the business owner decided to record the persecution himself.

Together with a witness, the man climbed into the vehicle of the witness and alerted the police. The emergency services were able to stop the escape car on the A100 at the Siemensdamm driveway - about seven kilometers from the crime scene. Two of the alleged perpetrators, aged 22 and 20, were arrested. The other two could escape on foot.

The police spokeswoman could not provide any information on the speed of chase or potentially endangered persons on request. It is also unclear whether the raid targeted the lottery store owner.

This incident shows the courage and determination of the business owner, who himself became active to put the perpetrators. Cooperation with a witness and the quick reaction to alert the police were crucial for the suspect's arrest.

It remains to be hoped that the police can track down the fleeting as soon as possible and that the lottery store owner will remain intact despite the attack. The investigation continues to clarify the exact course of the robbery and to gain further information about the perpetrators.
