Haythem Masry is now taking over the position of the chief physician in the Clinic for Neurosurgery at the Frankfurt Clinic (Oder). He succeeds Dr. med. Uwe Schröder, who retired after many years of work. Masry will be the management of this department together with Dr. Schröder take over to continue to ensure high -quality medical care for patients and to train and train young doctors.

Haythem Masry comes from the Gaza Strip and completed his medical studies at the renowned Charité. He has been working at the Frankfurt (Oder) Clinic since 2007 and has specialized in the field of neurosurgery. Most recently, he worked as a senior doctor and was appointed department head of the spine center in 2019. Masry has extensive knowledge of the operational and conservative treatment of brain, spine and peripheral nerve diseases and injuries.

The close cooperation with the Brandenburg-Berlin neurocompetence center continues to ensure interdisciplinary treatment of neurological clinical pictures at a high level. This includes cooperation with the Clinic for Neurology, the Institute for Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology as well as the Clinic for Radiation Medicine/Radio -oncology.
