Big search in Berlin: Dangerous Löwin on the go - police so far without success
in Berlin is currently a wildcat, possibly a lioness. Passers -by first saw the animal in the suburbs Kleinmachnow and Teltow. The police then searched for the big cat with helicopters and a large contingent of emergency services, but so far without success.
The search last led to the Berlin district of Zehlendorf, where there were no clues or traces on the animal. The police asks the population to keep visual contact at least 50 meters and then inform the police if the animal is spotted. Furthermore, it is asked not to drive the animal into the narrow.
Videos that were transmitted to the police, the animal supposedly show how a wild boar hunts and hunted. The police are therefore increasingly looking for in the areas of Teltow, Kleinmachnow and Stahnsdorf. Over 100 emergency services, a helicopter, veterinarians and hunters are involved in the search.
So far, neither the big cat nor a dead or injured wild boar could be discovered. The police have already checked zoos, zoo, circuses and animal welfare facilities, but no lionin is missing. In Brandenburg, a total of 23 lions from six different animal owners are registered, the contact details of which were transmitted to the police.
The municipality of Kleinmachnow, in which the animal was last sighted, has around 20,000 inhabitants. Security measures were taken in daycare centers and the children were recommended not to go outside. The town hall is still open, but the dealers on the market have not built up any stands.
The mayor of the community, Michael Grubert, calls for caution. However, there is no direct danger to the citizens of Kleinmachnow because the police have the situation under control. Everything is done to stun the lioness instead of killing. Falls should not be set up for the time being, since this would not be expedient in the next few days.
