Groß Pankow, Deutschland - In Groß Pankow, construction work at the Juri Gagarin primary school started a project of historical dimension! Mayor Marco Radloff speaks of a fundamental redesign: The school, which is currently attended by 145 children and is suffering on scarcity, is now getting a new building with eight classrooms and additional after-school care rooms. The first excavators were already on site in July, and the base plate is currently being poured. The ambitious expansion costs the municipality of 5.8 million euros, which is a significant burden. Despite the high costs, school operations remain largely undisturbed. Modern play options are also planned to transform the school premises into an appealing learning and experience room.
