GRÖNER explains that the exploding property prices in Berlin led to the fact that his company has not realized any further projects in the city since 2022. The purchasing power of the Berlin population is not sufficient to serve the high rental prices required to cover the property costs. This means that the implementation of new construction projects is not profitable in economic terms.

Another aspect that Greön appeals is the idea of ​​using resources in cities like Berlin. He suggests using existing areas more efficiently by, for example, replacing one -storey building by multi -storey people. Nevertheless, Gröner complains of a lack of willing politics to participate in housing construction. Ideological concerns and party political interests often seem to be in the way instead of promoting solutions to create urgently needed living space.
