A revolution of mobile phone supply for Greiz!

Finally the time has come: Telekom has massively upgraded the mobile radio landscape in the Greiz district! In the past two months, not only a new location with lightning -fast LTE has been realized, but also with a future -oriented 5G. That means: fewer radio spots, more reception and a significant improvement in the bandwidth!

The new mobile phone locations are located in the municipalities of Brazilau and Kraftsdorf. The location in Kraftsdorf is particularly important because it ensures the mobile connection along the busy railway line in Thuringia-Ost. These are great news for everyone who wants more connection and fewer interruptions!

groundbreaking numbers and future views

Telekom now has a total of 51 mobile phone locations in the Greiz district - a household cover that is 99 percent! And that's not all: by 2026, another 16 new locations are planned, which will further strengthen the mobile network. The demand for bandwidth literally explodes - with an increase of around 30 percent per year! Georg von Wagner, company spokesman for Deutsche Telekom, emphasizes that you will make a "pace" when expanding the mobile phone.

In order to implement these ambitious plans, Telekom is dependent on cooperation with local communities and property owners. So if you can offer an area for a new location, you should immediately contact the German radio tower. The goal is clear: even more user satisfaction and cell phone reception of the extra class!
