The union of the police (GdP) calls for better protection for police officers and women in connection with the tense security situation. The GDP is committed to raising compensation benefits for qualified incidents for a permanent disability of at least 50 percent nationwide to 500,000 euros. In the event of the death of police officers, the bereaved should receive compensation of 300,000 euros. The GdP also in favor of a nationwide police allowance of 300 euros. In addition, the union calls for post -traumatic stress disorders to recognize police officers as an occupational disease.

The GdP also supports the claim of the Interior Ministers' Conference (IMK) according to nationwide regulations for the use of electronic ankle cuffs in the area of ​​violence against women. The GdP calls for a nationwide uniform definition of domestic violence to build a reliable help system. Currently, around 14,000 places in women's shelters are missing nationwide, which regularly makes it difficult for the police to quickly bring victims of domestic violence into safe shelters.

The GdP welcomes the importance of fan project work as a special form of youth and social work and the promotion of a peaceful fan culture.
