Violent discussion in Berlin-Köpenick: two people injured in brutal attack

Bei einer gewalttätigen Auseinandersetzung in Berlin-Köpenick wurden am Mittwochmittag zwei Menschen verletzt, wie die Polizei Berlin mitteilte. Gegen 12.50 Uhr kam es an der Gutenbergstraße, Ecke Lange Brücke zu einem Streit zwischen einem 30-jährigen Mann und einem 57-jährigen Mann sowie einem 31-jährigen Mann. Der 30-Jährige griff zu verschiedenen Gegenständen, um auf die beiden Personen einzuschlagen. Zuerst schlug er mit einer Holzlatte auf sie ein und griff zusätzlich zur Gehhilfe des 57-Jährigen. Sowohl der 31-Jährige als auch der 57-Jährige verletzten sich dabei an den Armen. During a violent discussion in Berlin-Köpenick, two people were injured on Wednesday afternoon, the Berlin police said. Around 12.50 p.m. there was a dispute between a 30-year-old man and a 57-year-old man as well as a 31-year-old man on Gutenbergstraße, corner of Lange. The 30-year-old grabbed various objects to hit the two people. First he hit her with a wooden slat and grabbed the 57-year-old's walking aid. With a violent discussion in Berlin-Köpenick, two people were injured on Wednesday afternoon, the Berlin police said. Around 12.50 p.m. there was a dispute between a 30-year-old man and a 57-year-old man as well as a 31-year-old man on Gutenbergstraße, corner of Lange. The 30-year-old grabbed various objects to hit the two people. First he hit her with a wooden slat and grabbed the 57-year-old's walking aid. Both the 31-year-old and the 57-year-old injured themselves on the arms.

The suspect, however, took a broken glass bottle neck on hand and thus stitched the battered 57-year-old in the thigh. The alleged perpetrator then fled. The 57-year-old had to be taken to the hospital due to the stab injury, while the younger victim could be treated on site. The Berlin police are currently investigating further investigations.
