Ghost driver causes serious accident on the Avus in the southwest of Berlin - 7 injuries and road closures.

according to a report by www.tagesspiegel.de , a ghost driver caused a serious accident on the Avus in Berlin southwest on Sunday night. A fire brigade spokesman confirmed that three cars were involved in the accident that occurred around 2:40 a.m. Seven injuries were brought to hospitals by emergency services, one of them in an emergency doctor's accompaniment. Nobody was seriously injured, said the spokesman. According to the fire brigade, a total of 50 forces were in use.

The Avus is still completely closed between the triangle and hut pathway, the left lane is still closed.

As a citizen of Berlin, I am concerned about the growing number of ghost drivers on the streets of the capital. Such serious accidents not only have tragic personal consequences, but also lead to considerable traffic disorders and disabilities. This type of incidents illustrates the need to further improve traffic safety in Berlin and to strengthen the educational campaigns and measures to prevent ghost trips. The traffic police have to intervene and carry out increased controls to minimize the risk of further serious accidents.
