New accommodation for refugees families at Rudolfplatz: Information event planned

The district office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg invites the residents of the Rudi-Kiez to an information and discussion event. A new accommodation for refugee families will open in June 2024 at Rudolfplatz. At the event, an overview of the current status and the planning is given, as well as information about existing and planned offers. Various representatives such as the district mayor Clara Herrmann, the deputy mayor Oliver Nöll, the President of the State Office for Refugee Affairs Mark Seibert, the City Council for School, Sport and Facility Management Andy Hehmke and the district representative for participation and integration Sahra Nell are present.

The residents of the Rudolfkiez are cordially invited to take part in the event, ask questions and to find out more about local offers. There is information about offers in the neighborhood and given the opportunity to actively participate in the integration of the refugee families.

It is important to support local events like this to promote the integration of refugee people and to strengthen solidarity in the community. Such information and discussion events can be dismantled, possible fears and prejudices and understanding as well as support for refugee families.
