New exhibition in Berlin: The Roots of Our Hands Deep As Revolt in the Kreuzberg/Bethanien Kunstraum. Exhibition researches history of exclusion and combines environmental discourses with anti -colonial fights.

in Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien opens the new exhibition "The Roots of our Hands Deep As Revolt", which researches the history of exclusion, which questions the colonial narrative of the duality of humans/nature and combines environmental discourses with anti -colonial fights. The exhibition runs until January 14, 2024 and is carried out by four institutions from Berlin and Cape Town. She examines how environmental discourses, politics and practices are still shaped and focuses on alternative ideas of nature and ecological responsibility.

As a citizen of Berlin, I look forward to participating in the exhibition "The Roots of our Hands Deep As Revolt", which will open on November 17th in the Kreuzberg/Bethanien art space. This exhibition is an important contribution to dealing with colonial narrative and environmental discourses that also affect the local community in Berlin. The exhibition promises to illuminate the way in which anti -colonial and decolonial struggles question the relationship between man and nature.

The cooperation between institutions from Berlin and Cape Town also shows the international importance of this exhibition. It offers the opportunity to explore alternative ideas of nature, sustainability and ecological responsibility that go beyond local borders. I am looking forward to how the exhibition researches the history of exclusion and illuminates current environmental issues.
