Sustainable finances: How banks invest their money
In our striving for sustainability and environmental protection, we often pay attention to how we live, consume and travel. But what about our money and the banks that we entrust it?
facing Finance e.V. invites everyone interested to learn more about how the choice of our banks and investment funds has an impact on the environment, climate and human rights. A lecture shows what role banks play in current crises such as plastic pollution, water shortages and human rights violations.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the district central library Pablo Neruda, Frankfurter Allee 14a, 10247 Berlin. Admission is free, registrations are possible by June 1 by e-mail to Helena.jansen@ba-fk.berlin.
facing Finance e.V. is committed to a responsibility with money and is committed to social and ecological criteria in the financial sector. With the Fair Finance Guide and the Faire-Fonds.info database, the NGO offers opportunities to check the sustainability guidelines of banks and investment funds.
