Socialide in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg: Together for more inclusion

On July 19, 2024, the ninth including sports festival "Socialide" starts in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg under the motto "Inclusive right in the middle". The event is all about the commitment of everyone involved in order to counteract exclusion and stigmatization and to strengthen the inclusive community in the district.

The Social Sympia is organized by providers of psychosocial care in cooperation with the Health of the District Office. The event is supported by the district mayor Clara Herrmann and other members of the district, who will officially open the event.

The sports festival takes place on the sports grounds at Lobeckstraße 62 and is accessible free of charge for all interested people of all ages and sporting skills. In addition to classic sports such as table tennis, climbing and archery, activities are also offered that promote fairness and team spirit. People with restricted mobility can also take part in the sporting offers.

The event ends with a ceremonial award ceremony for the winners of the tournaments in the KUBB and table tennis. An accompanying program with children's actions such as face painting and balloon modeling ensures fun and entertainment for the youngest visitors. The physical well -being of the participants is also taken care of, with refreshments, snacks and surprises for everyone.
