Inclusion sports festival in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg: Sport connects and creates diversity!

Sport for everyone in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg

In Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, the inclusion sports festival will take place on the sports grounds of TIB 1848 e.V. on Saturday, September 14, 2024. This event as part of the Inclusion Week Berlin 2024 offers the opportunity to discuss inclusion and anti -discrimination work in organized sport, to reduce barriers and to promote integrative and discriminatory coexistence.

District City Councilor Andy Hehmke emphasizes the importance of inclusion in sports and emphasizes that every person should have the opportunity to do sporty, regardless of physical or mental abilities, origin or gender. In his statement, he emphasizes that sport unites people, strengthens the sense of community and teaches mutual respect. It is our responsibility to reduce barriers and create an environment in which diversity is celebrated.
