Free Kids Comic Day 2024: Three Comic events in Berlin

In May, three comic events take place in the locations of the city library in Berlin. Among other things, a manga workshop for people aged 6 and over is offered at the Wilhelm Liebknecht / Namik Kemal focus library, in which the participants can learn the basic techniques of manga drawing. In addition, the Hamburg comic authors Wiebke Bolduan and Noëlle Kröger present their debut-graphic novels "Viktoria Aal" and "Cute" at the Comic Invasion Berlin in the district central library Pablo Neruda. In addition, visitors to the “Free Kids Comic Day 2024” have the opportunity to take three Comichefte for free per person.

The manga workshop with Ai Yokoyama will take place on Thursday, May 4, 2024, at the Wilhelm Liebknecht / Namik Kemal. There are two dates from 11.15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Admission is free, but a pre -registration on the phone number (030) 5058 5224 is required.

The comic invasion of Berlin, at which "Viktoria Aal" and "Cute" are presented, will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the district central library Pablo Neruda. Admission is free.

At the "Free Kids Comic Day 2024", interested parties can collect free comic fertoes on various days in the libraries involved. The first appointment is on Saturday, May 11, 2024, during the opening hours of the libraries in the district central library Pablo Neruda and the Wilhelm Liebknecht / Namik Kemal. The second appointment is on Monday, May 13th, 2024, during the opening hours of the Friedrich von Raumer district library.
