On January 27, 2024, a memorial event for the victims of the Nazi regime will take place in Friedrichshain Kreuzberg. The district council and the district office cordially invite you to participate. The event will take place on Stele Koppenstraße/corner of Singerstrasse in Berlin and start at 2 p.m. In addition to representatives of the unification of the persecuted of the Nazi regime - the Association of Anti -Fascists, district mayor Clara Herrmann and the board member of the district council Magnus Heise will also be present.

District Mayor Clara Herrmann emphasizes the importance of the commemoration day in order to remember the darkest chapter in German history and actively work against anti -Semitism and democratic ideas. The memory of the crimes of National Socialism obliges to actively stand up for democracy and peaceful coexistence in society.
