The “Environmental Education Goes Askanischer Platz” project is also funded to promote environmental education and sustainability in the Kreuzberg neighborhoods. The aim is to promote biodiversity and to network the neighborhoods in Kreuzberg in environmental issues. The “Café International Encounters” project of Diakonie Stadtmitte e.V. is also supported to create a meeting place with advice for newcomers, especially traumatized refugees.

In addition, the fine pilot project of the neighborhood house Urbanstraße e.V., "Citizens' participation and Action Network Urbanhafen" is extended. The project aims to create low -threshold access to citizen participation and to support community work. It is funded with 32,000 euros.

The funds for the fine program are provided by the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Living.
