Fine funding for Friedrichshain-Kreuzberger: Now make applications!

From now on, residents and organizations in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district are again available for voluntary commitment in neighborhoods (fine). The funding comes from the Senate program "Fein - Voluntary Commitment in Neighborhoods" and have a total volume of 61,600 euros. Applications can be submitted by March 31, 2024. The ideas should contribute to upgrading or improving the infrastructure in the district, such as renovations, clean -up campaigns or plantings in community facilities such as schools, daycare centers or senior leisure facilities.

projects that were promoted last year included the construction of a mud kitchen in the back yard of a daycare center, the construction of a nature experience in the outside area of ​​a school and the renovation and redesign of lounges by a club for girls and young women. The funding amount per application is a maximum of 3,500 euros.

The selection of the projects is made by a citizen jury for whom jury members are still sought.
