Book presentation: Master crises together - how political education can help
District Mayor Clara Herrmann informs about an event in the district central library Pablo Neruda in Berlin. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 7 p.m. and moderated by the editors Marcus Hawel and Stefan Kalmring. In the anthology "(without) power overcome!" Various contributions are presented that deal with the coping with social crises and the role of critical political education. The authors want to encourage to counter the crises in solidarity and discuss how European democracies can become more resistant.
The event is organized in cooperation with the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg city library and is accessible free of charge. Registration is required. The authors Marcus Hawel and Stefan Kalmring are known with their backgrounds as a sociologist, social psychologist or speaker for critical political education in the Rosa-Luxemburg Foundation. Maria Skóra, a research assistant at the Institute for European Politics, will also take part in the discussion.
