Drug network in Berlin: Double arrest after searches!

Emergency forces from the Berlin police yesterday searched several objects in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and Pankow in connection with a large drug trafficking. Two suspects, a 52-year-old and a 32-year-old, are suspected of having acted with cannabis and cocaine between April and June 2020 about the crypted messenger service "Encrochat". The younger suspect is said to have illegally imported 60 kilograms of hashish from Switzerland and passed on to his father. The latter is said to have acted with cocaine, heroin and crystalmeth.

When searching for an apartment in Westend, a bar in Wilmersdorf and a single -family house in Heinersdorf, important evidence was ensured. These include almost three kilograms of cannabis, 32 grams of cocaine, extensive cash amounts in the five -digit range and a variety of drug utensils. In addition, the officers found two safes, in one of them an unregistered revolver and ammunition. While the 52-year-old and another 26-year-old, who is also suspected, were temporarily arrested, the 32-year-old stays on the run. The investigation continues.
