School construction measures in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg: Improvement of the educational infrastructure
In the upcoming summer holidays, important school construction measures are carried out in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district to optimize the educational infrastructure and to offer the pupils and teachers improved learning and working conditions.
The planned measures aim to modernize the school buildings and increase the quality of the educational institutions. The focus is on both security and the functionality of schools.
Improvement of the infrastructure
- The Galilei/Liebmann School in Friedrichstrasse will ensure a higher hygiene standard by renewing the toilet partitions.
- The Carl von Ossietzky Community School in Blucherstraße receives a modernized lifting system for rainwater and the renovation of the light domes on the sports hall roofs.
- A new teaching kitchen is set up in the Refik Veseli high school on Skalitzer Strasse to improve cooking lessons.
increase in student friendliness
- The installation of safety lighting in the main building of the mayor-Herz primary school in Wilmsstraße contributes to the increase of security for all users.
- The Fanny Hensel primary school on Schöneberger Straße will receive a new cafeteria from containers to offer the students a pleasant environment for lunch break.
