New advisory board for psychosocial emergency care founded in Berlin!

Berlin, Deutschland - Yesterday the first constituent meeting of the new advisory board for psychosocial emergency care (PSNV) took place in Berlin. In this committee, representatives of the Senate Administrations for Interior, Education, Health and Justice, together with members of Berlin aid organizations, the churches as well as the victim representative Roland Weber and the state representative Justus Münster. The police are also a constant member.

The advisory board has the task of developing binding quality standards in PSNV and implementing them in the training of emergency services. In addition, recommendations for action for crises and major damage events are to be formulated and optimal cooperation between all involved such as the police, fire brigade and clinics is to be ensured. Another focus is on the support of first -aid and emergency services who are affected by stressful operations themselves. The basis for the work is the law on psychosocial emergency care in Berlin.
